New products from Fatman

Fatman iTube Valve Dock
Fatman iTube Valve Dock
We've come across a few iPod docks in our time, but none quite like this. The new iTube Valve Dock has been created by big-thinking manufacturer Fatman, with the aim of bringing some analogue warmth to your digital music files.

The unit features a docking station that is compatible with all iPods (except Shuffle), and as is the norm with iPod docks, you can control the iPod functions via the remote control.

The iTube Valve Dock also comes with a matching valve amplifier, which as well as playing your iPod tunes, is also compatible with alternative sound sources. A video output allows you to connect video enabled iPods to your TV.

The Fatman iTube Valve Dock will start shipping this month priced at £299.

Fatman also has some in-ear 'phones hitting the market, brilliantly dubbed the 'FatFones'. Fatman promise that the FatFones will fit securely so they'll stay put during jogging, cycling or even walking to McDonalds (ok, we made that last one up - couldn't resist).

The FatFones utilise technology first developed by audiologists for the in-ear monitoring of musicians and Formula One drivers. Usefully, they also come in a choice of three sizes to help you get a good fit to help block out annoying background noise.

The Fatman Fatfones are out now priced at around £30.
